Job Description
**Job Title** Compliance Executive **Role Summary** Provide front‑line compliance support to the Head of Compliance and wider legal teams, ensuring regulatory, ethical and operational obligations are met across AML, due diligence, complaints handling, policy review and audit support. **Expectations** - Detail‑oriented, highly organised, and proactive in identifying compliance risks. - Strong analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to collaborate across multiple business units and adapt to a fast‑paced legal environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Support the early stages of business processes from a compliance perspective. - Assist Head of Compliance, Director of Compliance, and COLP/COFA with routine duties. - Review marketing and client‑facing documentation for regulatory compliance. - Manage complaints and client concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution. - Conduct KYC/AML checks and complete due‑diligence assessments. - Coordinate annual review and updates of policies, procedures, and standards. - Compile data for internal compliance reports and external regulatory filings (SRA, LeO, ICO). - Provide administrative support for group compliance projects. - Respond to external auditors, regulators, and third‑party requests, providing analysis and required documentation. - Assist with LEXCEL assessment and other accreditation processes. **Required Skills** - Legal knowledge and experience in a law firm or regulatory environment. - Proficient in case‑management systems (e.g., Proclaim) and Microsoft Office. - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Undergraduate degree in Law, Business, or a related field. - Professional compliance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CSM, or equivalent) preferred.
