Job title: Cybersecurity, IT and Networks Teacher
Role Summary: Contract teaching position in a vocational secondary school; design, deliver, and assess lessons in cybersecurity, information technology, and network engineering in alignment with national curricula.
Expectations: • 18 teaching hours per week over a 36‑week school year.
• Fixed-term contract (immediate start, ends 31 Aug 2026).
• Prepare lesson plans independently, participate in school activities, and maintain regular communication with parents.
• Maintain a clean criminal record.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver classroom and practical sessions on electronics, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data valorisation.
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school operations and team projects.
• Serve as a liaison with parents and contribute to student orientation initiatives.
• Promote civic values and maintain a positive learning environment.
Required Skills: • Programming in C, HTML, CSS, Java, Python, IoT.
• Knowledge of copper, fiber, and power transmission systems, including installation, qualification, and troubleshooting.
• Electronic design and production: PCB layout, surface‑mount and through‑hole soldering, component testing.
• Understanding of electronic waste handling regulations.
• Proficiency with networking protocols, infrastructures, and services.
• Ability to install and configure digital systems and security tools.
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and specialized industry software.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills.
Required Education & Certifications: • Engineering degree or Master 1 in Electronics, Industrial Computer Engineering, Telecommunication‑Networks, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
• Alternatives: BTS in Digital Systems or Electronics, DUT in Networks and Telecommunications, or Electrical & Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, network administration, or electronics (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
