Job Description
**Job Title:** Front-End Developer **Role Summary:** Develop high-impact e-commerce experiences for global brands using modern front-end technologies. Collaborate in a remote team to design, build, and optimize digital solutions that prioritize performance, accessibility, and user engagement. **Expectations:** 2–3+ years in a web development agency or in-house brand environment; proven Shopify or equivalent e-commerce platform experience; mastery of JavaScript, HTML accessibility, and performance optimization; strong problem-solving abilities and technical curiosity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain responsive, accessible e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred). - Implement complex interactions with semantic HTML, framework-agnostic JavaScript, and modern tooling. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished digital solutions for high-profile clients. - Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and progressive enhancement principles. - Optimize front-end performance and leverage browser APIs for enhanced user experiences. - Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within agile development workflows. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), semantic HTML, and CSS. - Experience with Shopify or similar headless/CMS platforms. - Strong understanding of WCAG guidelines and accessible design. - Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Babel), linters, and CI/CD pipelines. - Proficient in Git and collaborative development practices. - Awareness of emerging web standards and browser APIs. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. - No specific certifications required (equivalent experience acceptable).
