**Job Title:** Corporate Tax Assistant Manager **Role Summary:** Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering compliance, advisory, and transaction services. Serve as the primary contact for owners, private‑equity backed firms, and large corporates, collaborating with partners and service lines to ensure seamless delivery and contribute to business development. **Expectations:** - Hold a professional tax qualification (CA, ATT, CTA or equivalent). - Independently manage client workloads and review junior work. - Stay current with UK corporate tax legislation and international tax concepts. - Demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, and confidence in client and team interactions. - Commit to continuous learning, mentorship, and firm growth initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and maintain client relationships for corporate tax compliance and advisory. - Prepare and review tax returns, group reporting, and audit of tax work. - Participate in tax structuring, transaction planning, and related project work. - Coordinate with partners, directors, and other service lines to deliver integrated solutions. - Mentor, supervise, and review junior team members’ deliverables. - Support business development activities and enhance the firm’s market presence. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax law and practice. - Ability to analyze complex tax issues and propose practical solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams. - Project management skills with attention to deadlines and quality. - Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite. - Team leadership and coaching capability. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Professional tax qualification (Chartered Accountant, ATT, CTA, or equivalent). - Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field (preferred).
