Job Description
**Job title** Commercial – Construction & Infrastructure (BTP) (M/F) **Role Summary** Field sales professional responsible for developing the BTP and infrastructure market for a manufacturer of polyethene and polypropylene solutions. The role focuses on increasing product prescription among architects, project managers, distributors, and other key prescribers, while maintaining high client satisfaction and driving commercial results from the home‑office environment. **Expactations** - Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in the construction/building sector (infrastructure, civil works, networks). - Proven ability to prescribe products and translate technical requirements into commercial solutions. - Strong negotiation skills, self‑driven and results‑oriented. - Regular travel within the assigned sector; awareness of market dynamics. - Ability to identify new opportunities and grow the client base. - Determination and resilience in pursuing sales targets. **Key Responsibilities** - Define, implement, and manage the commercial action plan for the assigned region. - Prospect, acquire, and nurture a portfolio of clients across the BTP value chain. - Drive product prescription and sales to diverse stakeholders (architects, project managers, distributors). - Collaborate with internal support services (technical, commercial, logistics). - Prepare monthly activity reports including sales performance and competitive intelligence. - Apply pricing conditions tailored to client categories and ensure profitable margins. - Utilize digital tools (CRM, ERP, other platforms) for opportunity management and data accuracy. - Own commercial results and be accountable for meeting or exceeding targets. - Conduct market analysis and propose strategic improvements to enhance market share and profitability. **Required Skills** - Commercial strategy & prospecting - Product prescription / technical sales - Negotiation & closing - Client relationship management - Market analysis & competitive intelligence - Reporting & KPI tracking - Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems - Strong communication and presentation skills - Flexibility to travel and work independently - Persistent, solution‑oriented mindset **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bac + 2 to Bac + 5 level in commercial, business, marketing, or related field. - Additional certifications or training in sales, construction industry, or technical product knowledge are beneficial.
