Job Title Energy Efficiency Engineer Intern Role Summary Support the development and compliance of projects eligible for French Energy Efficiency Certificates (CEE), ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory adherence, and optimization of certificate value for renewable energy market participants. Expectations - Undergraduate or graduate student in thermal engineering, energy engineering, construction engineering, or related field. - Internship/entry‑level role with opportunities for practical finance and renewable energy exposure. Key Responsibilities - Identify and assess projects qualifying for CEE. - Advise clients on eligibility and submit EMMY filings. - Validate incoming CEE requests – verify completeness of quotes, tax notices, RGE certificates, receipt certificates, cadastral data, invoices, sizing sheets, and other documentation. - Liaise with project stakeholders to gather missing documentation. - Ensure all procedures comply with decrees from the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and Solidarity. - Develop strategies to maximize the quantity of certificates and explore market commercialization. - Produce regular performance reports on CEE project effectiveness. - Track key performance indicators and implement control measures to improve process efficiency. Required Skills - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Familiarity with renewable energy markets and energy efficiency certification processes. - Effective communication and coordination skills with sales teams and project partners. - Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements. - Basic proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
