Job Description
**Job title** Manager Security, Managed Services **Role Summary** Lead the delivery of managed security services, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development. Manage performance against key metrics, oversee resource planning, and ensure high‑quality service aligned with Statements of Work (SOW). **Expectations** - Deliver services that meet or exceed SOW and KPI targets. - Increase customer satisfaction and loyalty through trusted advisor interactions. - Enhance team engagement, skill growth, and coaching effectiveness. - Drive process improvements that boost efficiency and service value. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and monitor operational reporting and KPIs. - Lead departmental and customer‑facing meetings; articulate service value. - Manage client relationships, handle escalations, and maintain strong communication. - Assign resources, prioritize workloads, and schedule activities to meet SOW deadlines. - Ensure documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base are accurate, current, and quality‑controlled. - Coach and mentor team members; conduct quality assessments and provide constructive feedback. - Identify and execute process improvement initiatives and new service launches. - Develop presentations, reports, and documentation for the team and clients. - Represent the organization in external forums, fostering industry thought leadership. **Required Skills** - Leadership and coaching; ability to develop and motivate teams. - Strong communication and stakeholder management. - Project and account leadership with a client‑focused mindset. - Expertise in managed security services and security operations. - Analytical skills for KPI development and reporting. - Process improvement, change management, and knowledge‑base maintenance. - Proficiency with service delivery tools and performance measurement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or 3‑year diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field. - 7–11 years of IT/ security experience, including 7 years in a client‑facing security role or SOC. - Minimum 2 years of experience leading people, projects, or customer accounts. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
