Job Description
**Job Title:** Security Operations Analyst – Managed Services **Role Summary:** Provides first‑level technical support for network, information, and endpoint security within a 24 × 7 managed services environment. Monitors, resolves, and escalates security incidents while maintaining service level agreements and building client trust. Continues professional development through training and certifications. **Expectations:** - Participate in 24 × 7 shift schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. - Deliver high‑quality customer service and meet defined SLAs. - Pursue ongoing technical training and obtain relevant security certifications. - Contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere and share knowledge. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor security alerts and respond to first‑level support tickets (≈80% of time). - Escalate complex issues to senior analysts as needed. - Communicate incident status and post‑incident findings to clients. - Identify, record, and report service performance trends, anomalies, and SLA breaches. - Update and maintain knowledge‑base articles. - Apply Trusted Advisor techniques to strengthen client relationships. - Complete assigned self‑paced trainings and shadowing activities (≈20% of time). **Required Skills:** - Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise information systems. - Strong verbal and written communication abilities. - Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. - Effective time‑management and organizational capabilities. - Proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, email, diagramming). - Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new security technologies and products. - Call handling/ticketing experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field **or** 3‑year technical diploma **or** ≥4 years IT experience (including ≥1 year in support). - Entry‑level security certification desirable (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA‑Security, Check Point CCSA, Palo Alto ACE, IBM QRadar Analyst, CrowdStrike CFIR, Microsoft SC‑200, etc.).
