**Job Title** Senior Manager, Engineering – Cloud Infrastructure **Role Summary** Senior Manager provides strategic leadership for engineering teams that design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure. Focuses on Kubernetes orchestration, scalability, security, and cost optimization to enable rapid product delivery while maintaining operational excellence. **Expectations** - Lead multiple engineering teams, establishing ownership and accountability. - Drive infrastructure strategy aligned with product roadmaps and business goals. - Maintain high reliability, performance, and compliance in all deployments. - Foster continuous improvement, automation, and innovation culture. **Key Responsibilities** - Mentor and manage engineers responsible for cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration. - Define and execute scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient infrastructure services. - Collaborate with product, architecture, and security teams to design containerized solutions. - Implement observability, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid iteration. - Ensure regulatory and security compliance across infrastructure deployments. - Promote inclusive collaboration and cross‑functional partnership. - Align infrastructure initiatives with leadership and product direction. **Required Skills** - Leadership and team management of engineering groups. - Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms. - Hands‑on Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale. - Strong DevOps fundamentals and CI/CD pipeline ownership. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Capacity to prioritize and deliver multiple concurrent projects. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. - 8+ years of software engineering experience, with ≥3 years in a leadership role. - Preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field. - Preferred: Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Helm) and observability platforms. - Preferred: Track record managing distributed or global engineering teams.
