**Job Title:** Sr. DevSecOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Senior engineer responsible for building, securing, and optimizing a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that aggregates, manages, and analyzes digital engineering data. The role ensures seamless digital thread, tool interoperability, and AI‑readiness while delivering secure Linux/Windows cloud and enterprise computing infrastructure, containerized applications, and advanced DevSecOps practices.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in secure, cloud‑centric environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (FS Poly acceptable).
- Compliance with DoD 8570 (Security+ CE).
- Proven ability to lead secure, scalable CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud architecture (AWS preferred; Azure considered).
- Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Foreman.
- Develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Groovy) for integration, deployment, and testing.
- Implement automated testing (Selenium) and develop test plans for security and functional requirements.
- Manage containerized environments (Kubernetes, Rancher) and orchestrated workflows.
- Configure monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, DynaTrace).
- Document architecture, processes, and security controls.
- Decompose work into Jira stories and estimate effort.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support MBSE initiatives and ensure system integrity.
- Apply security best practices, including Active Directory integration and secure API gateway management.
**Required Skills:**
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) expertise.
- System testing and validation experience.
- Troubleshooting and solutioning skills in complex, secure environments.
- Cloud infrastructure design (AWS, Azure).
- DevOps tooling: Foreman, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab.
- Container orchestration: Rancher, Kubernetes.
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Groovy.
- Automated testing tools: Selenium.
- Agile methodologies, Jira task decomposition.
- Documentation and communication proficiency.
- Familiarity with security requirements and compliance processes.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field.
- Security+ CE certification.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (FS Poly acceptable).
- Compliance with DoD 8570.
