Job Title: Remote Salesforce Developer
Role Summary: Remote Salesforce Developer responsible for converting legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builders into Flows, upgrading REST/SOAP APIs, and performing comprehensive Salesforce administration and support with a focus on data modeling, system integration, and data conversion.
Expectations: Minimum 5 years of database and systems analysis experience; strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; proficient in communicating technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert existing Workflow Rules and Process Builders into Flow solutions.
- Upgrade and maintain Salesforce APIs (REST and SOAP).
- Design and implement data models and manage data conversions.
- Perform user and license management: new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, Org‑Wide Defaults, and sharing rules.
- Configure Salesforce components: Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Conduct user training sessions and deliver presentations.
- Troubleshoot new software implementations, data conversion issues, and system integrations.
- Manage relational database queries, reporting, and administration.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization of Salesforce configurations.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce Administration and Development expertise.
- Proficiency in Flow, Process Builder, Workflow, Apex (as needed).
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integration.
- Data modeling, data conversion, and relational database management.
- User and license management, Org‑Wide Defaults, sharing rules.
- Configuration of approval processes, assignment rules, dynamic layouts, dashboards, reports.
- Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Advanced Administrator preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of database and systems analysis experience.
