Job Title: Sales Development Representative (UK) Role Summary: Engage and qualify trial users of a SaaS workforce management platform, driving early-stage sales pipeline growth for the UK market. Expactations: - Identify and qualify qualifying leads within the first 5 days of trial enrollment. - Maintain daily outbound outreach volume and achieve set discovery‑call conversion quotas. - Progress high‑quality prospects into the Account Executive handoff pipeline. - Consistently improve objection‑handling skills and demonstrate a clear path toward an AE role. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research and outreach to prospective clients via phone, email, and social channels. - Initiate discovery calls and perform qualification calls to assess fit against ideal customer profiles. - Manage lead follow‑up, ensuring timely updates in the CRM and smooth handoffs to sales and marketing teams. - Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and target audiences. - Report on outreach metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline contributions. Required Skills: - 1+ years experience in SDR/BDR roles within SaaS or tech sales. - Strong objection‑handling, demo‑confirmation discipline, and ability to close discovery calls. - Tech‑savvy with quick adaptation to new tools and sales technologies. - Self‑motivation, independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for growth. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or related field. - No mandatory certifications required, but familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools is preferred.
