Job Description
**Job Title:** Director of Global Sales – EMEA **Role Summary:** Regional leader for the EMEA market, reporting to the VP Sales. Responsible for executing Orient Express’s global sales strategy across sailing yachts, hotels, and trains, managing strategic accounts, driving revenue growth, and acting as the primary liaison between regional activities and the global sales organization. **Expectations:** - Accelerate revenue and market share in the EMEA luxury travel segment. - Manage and expand strategic accounts, focusing on UHNWIs. - Align regional initiatives with global sales and marketing campaigns. - Represent the brand at industry events and high‑profile client engagements. - Provide actionable market insights and performance reporting to senior leadership. - Travel regularly across EMEA and internationally as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead EMEA strategic accounts and key partners, ensuring alignment with global sales goals. - Partner with Accor Global Sales to design and execute high‑impact initiatives for yachts, hotels, and trains. - Identify cross‑selling opportunities and develop innovative strategies to attract UHNWIs. - Coordinate with asset teams (Sailing Yachts, Italy Trains & Hotels) to implement market‑specific sales plans. - Serve as the EMEA liaison, communicating regional performance, trends, and client feedback to the global organization. - Align regional B2B marketing efforts with global campaigns and secure strategic partnerships to enhance brand positioning. - Represent Orient Express at trade shows, industry events, and exclusive client meetings. **Required Skills:** - Proven track record in luxury travel/hospitality sales and strategic account management (10+ years). - Deep understanding of the EMEA luxury travel market and UHNW client behavior. - Strong network within luxury travel and lifestyle sectors. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration abilities. - Analytical and strategic mindset; ability to translate market data into growth initiatives. - Ability to work effectively with global teams while prioritizing regional goals. - Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across the region. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. - No specific certifications required.
