Job Description
Job Title: Internal Sales Administrator Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end order processing and customer support for an internal sales team, ensuring accurate SAP entry, timely quotations, and coordination with Production and Procurement to deliver orders on schedule. Expectations: - Enter orders accurately into SAP within agreed turnaround times. - Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally. - Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and meet SLA targets for quote and order confirmation. - Support external sales team in quote preparation and follow‑up. - Communicate status updates clearly to internal teams and customers. Key Responsibilities: • Receive and answer customer enquiries by phone and email, generating accurate quotations. • Enter and confirm orders in SAP Business One, verifying pricing, discounts, and delivery dates. • Liaise with Production and Procurement to track order status, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on‑time delivery. • Issue order confirmations and send acknowledgements to customers. • Follow up on outstanding orders and communicate updates to stakeholders. • Prepare and send quotes to support the external sales team, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines. • Maintain up‑to‑date customer and product data in the CRM system. Required Skills: - Strong verbal and written communication. - High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. - Customer‑focused mindset with problem‑solving ability. - Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Familiarity with SAP Business One or similar CRM/order‑processing software (preferred). - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum GCSE Grade C/4‑5 in Maths and English (or equivalent). - No specific higher education required; relevant sales or customer‑service experience valued.
