Job Description

Job title: Data Analyst – Transformation and Data Modeling (F/M) Role Summary: Drive data preparation, transformation, and modeling to support enterprise data initiatives. Translate business requirements into technical data solutions, ensure data quality and integrity across the lifecycle, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to enable self‑service BI. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality, well‑documented data models and transformations that align with business needs. - Maintain consistency, performance, and governance of the enterprise data model. - Act as a subject‑matter expert for data analytics and empower business users through training and support. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business requirements into technical data specifications. - Ensure data quality and integrity from ingestion through consumption. - Design, maintain, and improve the enterprise data model, ensuring coherence and performance. - Collaborate with Data Engineers and business teams to optimize data usage. - Identify data issues and provide actionable solutions. - Lead the business Data Analyst community, guiding self‑service BI adoption. - Define and implement data governance frameworks and best practices for analysts. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in data modeling (dimensional modeling, 3NF, Data Vault, etc.). - Advanced SQL proficiency for extracting and manipulating large datasets. - Knowledge of semantic layers such as Azure Analysis Services is an advantage. - Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools and dashboard development. - Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. - Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to reporting and problem solving. - Change‑management capability and experience coaching business users toward self‑service BI. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Data Modeling. - Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or BI Consultant with proven expertise in data preparation and transformation.
