Job Description: **Job title** Electrical Engineer – Building **Role summary** Design, dimension, and oversee electrical installations for diverse building projects (residential, office, commercial, public). Ensure compliance with French and EU standards, safety, and energy efficiency while coordinating on-site execution and managing project budgets and timelines. **Expectations** - Deliver compliant, safe, and efficient electrical solutions. - Provide technical guidance, innovative energy‑management recommendations, and client support. - Operate autonomously in technical analysis and site management. **Key responsibilities** - Conduct technical studies, create plans, schematics, calculations, and specifications. - Select appropriate equipment for each project. - Verify conformity to national and European regulations and energy‑efficiency requirements. - Supervise electrical works on site, ensuring quality control. - Manage project schedules and costs. - Coordinate with other disciplines, manage interface issues and change orders. - Produce reporting and status updates for stakeholders. **Required skills** - Solid knowledge of architectural and building codes, electrical safety and energy‑efficiency regulations. - Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.). - Strong project coordination and site management abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and client interaction. - Problem‑solving mindset and capacity to propose innovative, sustainable solutions. **Required education & certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering, Building Engineering, or related field. - Relevant professional certification preferred (e.g., Registered Electrical Engineer, Certified Energy Manager). ---
