Job Description

**Job Title:** Mid Level Back End Developer **Role Summary:** Backend‑focused engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core services and APIs for a SaaS platform handling high‑volume transactional workflows. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable features. **Expectations:** - Minimum 2–4 years of commercial experience developing backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript. - Proven ability to own feature development and contribute to architectural decisions. - Strong teamwork and communication skills in an on‑site collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and enhance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Design, implement, and maintain GraphQL APIs. - Participate in system design and architecture discussions. - Collaborate with frontend engineers and product owners to deliver end‑to‑end features. - Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of platform components. - Write clean, well‑tested, and maintainable code following best practices. **Required Skills:** - Node.js development (2+ years). - TypeScript proficiency. - Experience with GraphQL in production environments. - Understanding of API design principles and REST/GraphQL patterns. - Familiarity with cloud‑based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Unit/integration testing and test‑driven development. - Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Node.js, TypeScript, Cloud) are a plus but not mandatory.
