Job Title: Physical Security Technician Role Summary: Execute the planning, installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of physical security systems—including access control, intrusion detection, and IP video—while providing leadership and updates to project stakeholders. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality installations within project timelines, adapt to evolving security technologies, and maintain rigorous safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Lead installation teams for alarm, access control, and video systems. - Program and configure devices from vendors such as Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Genetec, and Software House. - Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective actions. - Update project managers and clients on progress. - Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for long periods, and travel independently, especially along the East Coast.
