**Job Title**
Salesforce Technical Lead (12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions, overseeing technical team members and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, secure applications on the Salesforce platform.
**Expectations**
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure high‑quality code, adherence to best practices, and timely delivery within Agile sprints.
- Maintain clear documentation and support release management processes.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, and Flows.
- Build and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and implement them.
- Collaborate with squad members and business users for scoping, planning, and delivery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Gearset, Azure DevOps, Salesforce DX, and Git.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, security, and data issues.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL).
- Proven leadership or people‑management experience.
- Strong knowledge of declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, record types, dynamic forms).
- Experience with Java or another OOP language.
- Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Scratch Orgs, and Git version control.
- Familiarity with third‑party integrations and middleware.
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and test‑driven development.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield, security reviews, and data encryption.
- Ability to work in Agile delivery environments and follow best practices for code quality and security.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or other specialist certifications (preferred).
