Job Description

Job Title: Citrix Engineer Role Summary: Lead design, migration, and ongoing support of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Expectations: 3-5 years of proven experience designing and managing large‑scale CVAD solutions, demonstrated automation skills, and ability to troubleshoot complex end‑user issues. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end‑to‑end Citrix migration projects with minimal service disruption. • Install, configure, and patch Virtual Delivery Agents and StoreFront components. • Design, deploy, and manage Citrix NetScaler (ADC) appliances, including gateways, load balancing, and SSL. • Configure networking (VLANs, subnets, IP addressing) for Citrix infrastructure. • Troubleshoot printing, COM object registration, and session performance. • Maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) across Citrix servers; apply patches and performance tuning. • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, health checks, and configuration management. • Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and reliability. • Document configurations, migration protocols, and operational procedures. Required Skills: • Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD) administration across multiple versions. • Hands‑on experience with Citrix StoreFront, Citrix NetScaler (ADC), Citrix Director/Studio. • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and environment management. • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server. • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls, load balancing, SSL certificates). • Printer mapping, COM object troubleshooting, and session performance optimization. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience. • Minimum 8 years as a Citrix Engineer or Consultant. • Citrix Certified Professional (CCP‑V or higher) strongly preferred. • Certifications in Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, or related areas are a plus.
