**Job Title:** Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
**Role Summary:**
Strategic finance executive responsible for developing and executing global financial strategy for a high‑growth SaaS company. Leads FP&A, M&A, fundraising, investor relations, and global accounting operations while partnering with product, sales, engineering, and customer success to optimize unit economics and sustain rapid expansion.
**Expactations:**
- Own global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term strategy.
- Serve as trusted advisor to CEO, Board, and executives on performance, capital allocation, and risk.
- Build and manage M&A pipeline, deal execution, and post‑merger integration.
- Lead equity, debt, and strategic financing; maintain investor and lender relationships.
- Oversee global accounting, audit, tax, treasury, and compliance across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
- Partner cross‑functionally to set pricing, monetization, and KPI frameworks (ARR, CAC, LTV, retention).
- Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing global finance team, promoting transparency and operational rigor.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement global financial strategy aligned with aggressive growth and profitability targets.
- Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning across entities and currencies.
- Design and execute M&A strategy: pipeline, valuation, deal modeling, due diligence, and integration.
- Prepare and manage fundraising, equity/debt financing, and investor communications.
- Manage global accounting, audit, tax, treasury, and compliance functions; strengthen internal controls and cash management.
- Implement scalable financial systems to support international expansion.
- Drive partnership with product, sales, engineering, and customer success to refine unit economics and key SaaS metrics.
- Coach and develop finance team; embed culture of transparency and accountability.
**Required Skills:**
- Senior finance leadership experience (10+ yrs), including 3‑5 yrs as CFO/VP Finance in a SaaS environment.
- Deep M&A expertise: due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post‑merger integration.
- Proven fundraising and investor relations experience in private‑equity or venture‑backed companies.
- Multi‑entity, multi‑currency operational background (US, Canada, APAC preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision-making focus.
- Leadership, mentoring, and team‑building capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for board and executive stakeholder engagement.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- CPA or CFA preferred; MBA or equivalent advanced credential.
- Advanced finance or accounting degree may substitute for professional certifications.
