Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior IT Business Analyst **Role Summary:** Senior IT Business Analyst responsible for driving the successful delivery of medium to large‑scale global IT projects. Acts as the bridge between business units, technical teams, and vendors to define, manage, and trace requirements, support decision‑making, and ensure alignment with organizational strategies and PMO frameworks. **Expectations:** - Assess project scope and viability for the PMO. - Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. - Lead requirements elicitation and maintain traceability throughout project lifecycles. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to deliver solutions. - Support change management and contribute to BA/PMO best‑practice development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze organizational goals, core systems, and technical platforms to identify improvement opportunities. - Conduct impact analyses and develop business process models. - Produce and maintain requirement documentation, user stories, and traceability matrices. - Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, developers, and external partners. - Participate in vendor RFP creation, solution scoring, and evaluation. - Partner with Project Managers to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives. - Present analysis findings and status updates to leadership. - Support change management planning and execution. **Required Skills:** - Business analysis expertise (minimum 2 years in senior/lead role). - Proficiency with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) and MS Office Suite. - Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow. - Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, process automation, data‑driven solutions). - Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, D365) – preferred. - Understanding of supply‑chain processes – a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Post‑secondary degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - CBAP preferred; PMI‑PBA, Agile/Scrum certifications considered an asset.
