Job title: Player Protection and Game Security Data Specialist
Role Summary:
Primary duty is to protect competitive integrity, monetization fairness, and account security in Rainbow Six Siege through data‑driven analysis and threat mitigation. Owns knowledge base and strategies for competitive integrity; collaborates cross‑functionally to trace abuse lifecycle, define KPIs, build dashboards, and propose advanced detection techniques.
Experiences (Expectations):
– 3 + years in data analysis, preferably gaming, fraud detection, or cybersecurity.
– Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data‑visualization platforms.
– Practical experience with machine learning, anomaly detection, and behavior analytics.
– Strong analytical mindset, proactive ownership, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead data collection and analysis of competitive, monetization, and account abuse incidents.
2. Define, monitor, and report player protection KPIs; develop real‑time dashboards to visualize threat trends and system effectiveness.
3. Coordinate with UDO, Online Services, SRM, CRC, and Game Security to integrate data, enhance detection, and manage full abuse lifecycle (detection → sanction → appeal).
4. Investigate emerging abuse patterns, leveraging telemetry and matchmaking data to uncover new threats.
5. Drive innovation by researching industry trends in anomaly detection and behavioral analytics, recommending new tools and methods.
6. Translate complex threat insights into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders and executive decision‑makers.
Required Skills:
– Data science and analytics: statistical modeling, data wrangling, and feature engineering.
– Programming: Python, SQL; experience with ML libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
– Data visualization: Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
– Knowledge of game telemetry, matchmaking systems, or player behavior analytics (plus).
– Strong problem‑solving, autonomous initiative, and collaborative approach.
– Fluent in English (French not required).
Required Education & Certifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
– Relevant certifications in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Cybersecurity are a plus.
