**Job Title:** IT Project Manager
**Role Summary:**
Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure and architecture projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. Acts as primary liaison between IT teams and business clients, guiding projects from initiation through deployment and transition to operations.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting defined requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and manage cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Ensure risk mitigation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of project processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define project scope, objectives, budgets, and resource plans using provided tools.
- Assemble and lead project teams, coordinating tasks across computing, networking, telecom, data center, security, and voice/data communications.
- Develop and maintain schedules, track progress, and report status to stakeholders.
- Manage cost controls, resource allocation, and change requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate transition of completed solutions to operations and support teams.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word; familiarity with Primavera, PPMC, SAP, and Visio is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
- Resource planning, scheduling, tracking, and cost management expertise.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and solve complex problems.
- Team‑oriented, organized, and analytical.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (minimum).
- PMP certification or equivalent (e.g., Stanford Advanced Project Management Certificate) preferred.
- Master’s degree or MBA considered an advantage.
