**Job Title**: Salesforce Administrator
**Role Summary**
Administer and enhance the Salesforce platform for a business‑facing organization, managing user access, security, data integrity, and custom functionality while providing training and support to sales and operations teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver reliable system uptime and timely configuration changes.
- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.
- Provide clear, user‑friendly documentation and training.
- Collaborate with developers and external vendors to implement scalable solutions.
- Maintain data quality and support integration with third‑party applications.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and maintain profiles, roles, permissions, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, and approval processes.
- Manage sandbox environments, change sets, and deployment of Salesforce and integrated applications.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and territory management rules.
- Oversee data import/export, deduplication (e.g., Cloudingo, Validity), cleansing, and scheduled data maintenance.
- Partner with developers to create Apex triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages when needed.
- Integrate Salesforce with marketing automation, data warehouses, or other systems via APIs or middleware.
- Conduct user training, prepare documentation, and drive adoption.
- Serve as point of contact for all Salesforce-related requests and troubleshooting.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years of Salesforce administration in a business‑facing role.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce configuration (security, reporting, dashboards, page layouts, validation, flows).
- Experience with data management, import/export, deduplication, and quality monitoring.
- Familiarity with caching platforms (e.g., Cloudingo, DemandTools) and basic knowledge of SQL/ETL tools.
- Ability to develop and maintain custom Apex, Lightning, or Visualforce components.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical solutions for non‑technical users.
- Collaborative mindset; self‑managed in deadline‑driven environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) mandatory; additional certs (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) preferred.
