Job Description
Job title: Data Analyst Intern – 6 months (M/F) Role Summary: Assist in building and maintaining a Data Platform for an asset‑management firm, using Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. Support data engineering, financial analytics, and reporting projects, including creating dashboards, performance simulators, and financial/non‑financial calculations. Expectations: * Deliver high‑quality data tools and analyses for internal and client reporting. * Ensure accurate data extraction, validation, and KPI generation. * Respond to ad‑hoc data requests and offer analytical support for market studies and proposals. * Collaborate closely with data, reporting, and finance teams to drive project outcomes within schedules. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines and SQL scripts for data warehousing. * Build Power BI dashboards and visual analytics for stakeholders. * Create financial and ESG calculation modules and portfolio simulation tools. * Perform data quality checks, extraction, and aggregation for reporting. * Calculate and disseminate key financial and ESG indicators. * Support tender responses by generating required data, models, and simulations. * Attend cross‑functional meetings, gather requirements, and provide technical solutions. Required Skills: * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, VBA, Power Query). * Experience with Power BI and data‑platform tools (Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric/Databricks). * Familiarity with financial markets data systems (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.) is a plus. * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities. * Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage concurrent tasks and deadlines. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac + 4/5) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, ideally from a leading institution. * Double focus on finance and IT/computing is preferred. * Certifications in data engineering, Power BI, or relevant financial data platforms are advantageous.
