Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer Role Summary: Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Hibernate. Deliver robust web portals, service integrations, and database solutions while ensuring high performance, security, and code quality. Expactations: - Own end‑to‑end software delivery from requirements to support. - Mentor junior developers and champion best practices. - Collaborate across Agile teams to meet sprint goals and product deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise‑level Java applications on JBoss. - Build and extend web portals with JSF, Liferay, and DotCMS. - Implement ESB‑based service integrations and maintain related configurations. - Optimize SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and schema updates. - Integrate front‑end components using Node.js, AngularJS, and Vue.js. - Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and security hardening. Required Skills: - 8+ years in Java development with deep knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM. - Experience with JSF and enterprise portal platforms (Liferay, DotCMS). - Proficiency in JBoss application server administration and deployment. - Strong SQL Server expertise: design, query optimization, and stored procedures. - Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration patterns. - Front‑end skills: Node.js, AngularJS, Vue.js (ViewJS). - Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles. - Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. - Agile/Scrum experience and cross‑functional collaboration. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
