Job Description: **Job Title**: Business Intelligence Developer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that translate data into actionable insights for business decision‑making. Build and optimize data models, ETL processes, and interactive reports, ensuring data quality and performance across multiple sources. **Expectations**: - Deliver reliable, scalable BI tools that meet stakeholder needs. - Partner with business users to translate complex requirements into technical solutions. - Maintain data integrity, performance, and security standards. - Own end‑to‑end analytic projects from conception to presentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, code, and test SQL/T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models. - Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. - Build, test, and deploy ETL pipelines for data warehouse projects. - Manage relational and multidimensional data structures (cubes, metadata). - Validate and audit data integrity and quality across Sybase, V9, Magenta, and other repositories. - Automate recurring reporting and data‑management tasks. - Collaborate with stakeholders to extract insights and support strategic decisions. - Document solutions and maintain knowledge base for internal teams. **Required Skills** - Advanced SQL and T‑SQL proficiency. - Strong experience with Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Excel. - Expertise in relational and multidimensional data modeling. - Ability to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions. - Detail‑oriented, excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. - Comfortable working independently and within cross‑functional teams. - Prior exposure to insurance or financial services data (asset). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 4+ years of hands‑on BI development, data analysis, and report creation. - Certifications in Power BI, SQL Server, or related BI tools are a plus. - Proficiency in English (written and oral). ---
