Job Description
Job Title: Solution Architect Role Summary: Collaborates with stakeholders to design integrated IT/OT infrastructure solutions (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) aligned with business and strategic objectives. Focuses on operational excellence, technology standardization, and cross-domain architecture maturity. Expectations: Develop comprehensive solution architectures meeting project scope, timelines, and budget; ensure compliance with governance, security, and technical standards; drive process efficiency and technology modernization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design end-to-end IT/OT solutions aligning with business, operational, and strategic requirements. 2. Collaborate with SMEs, architects, and stakeholders to standardize practices and future-proof systems. 3. Create technology blueprints, reference architectures, and fit-for-purpose recommendations for cloud/on-prem migrations. 4. Evaluate existing systems, identify optimization opportunities, and propose scalable, secure, cost-efficient solutions. 5. Present architecture reviews, govern design outputs, and advocate for safety/environmental standards in technical decisions. 6. Lead continuous improvement of architecture practices through community engagement and domain maturity initiatives. Required Skills: - Advanced IT/OT architecture design across network, server, data, and cybersecurity domains - Cloud/on-premises/hybrid environment expertise with complex system integration - Application rationalization and technology evaluation for cost optimization - Proficiency in DLP principles and SharePoint architecture (preferred) - Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder communication (technical and non-technical audiences) Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences (Engineering, Systems Design, IT, Computer Science) or Business - 8+ years in IT/OT architecture/design roles, including senior architect experience and technology planning - Demonstrated track record in enterprise-scale solution delivery and architecture governance
