Job Description

Job title: Computer Vision Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy computer‑vision solutions that solve real‑world problems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate algorithms into scalable products and contribute to AI R&D. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready CV models on schedule. - Maintain clean, well‑documented code and uphold best engineering practices. - Engage with data scientists, product managers, and hardware teams to align solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Research, prototype, and implement state‑of‑the‑art CV algorithms (object detection, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, etc.). - Preprocess, augment, and analyze visual datasets to support training and inference. - Optimize models for speed, accuracy, and resource usage across CPU/GPU/edge devices. - Integrate machine‑vision pipelines into end‑to‑end applications and microservices. - Evaluate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and refine models iteratively. - Contribute to internal research on emerging CV and AI techniques. - Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through documentation and code reviews. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in computer vision, pattern recognition, and algorithm design. - Proficiency in Python; experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent libraries. - Solid software engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns). - Data science knowledge: statistics, preprocessing, feature engineering, model validation. - Familiarity with robotics integration or embedded systems is a plus. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
