Job Description

**Job Title:** IoT Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and deliver IoT-enabled connected products and systems across product lifecycle stages, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT solutions aligned with digital strategy and customer needs. Provide technical leadership for edge-data collection, cloud integration, and intelligent service delivery. **Expectations** Hybrid role requiring collaboration with R&D, product owners, and stakeholders to deploy IoT technologies. Travel to international locations for projects may be required. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead development of IoT-connected product solutions from design through deployment. - Design and implement hardware/software systems for data collection (sensor-level) and integration into cloud pipelines (e.g., Azure). - Configure edge devices (e.g., single-board computers) during development phases. - Collaborate with teams to define edge-capability requirements and optimize data ingestion, processing, and enrichment for intelligent services. - Support pre-sales teams by advising on IoT onboarding strategies for customers. - Facilitate customer onboarding and technical handover of IoT solutions. - Maintain compliance with global regulatory standards for IoT deployments. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and future-proofing of IoT systems across product development. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python for edge-data manipulation. - Experience with Azure data platform (or equivalent cloud infrastructure). - Practical skills in configuring edge devices and IoT platform deployment. - Agile methodology and iterative development practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for IoT architecture integration. - Effective collaboration and technical documentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Preferred: Certifications in IoT systems or cloud computing (e.g., Azure IoT, Cloud Architecture).
