**Job Title**
Digital ASIC Designer (F/H)
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and verify RTL digital blocks for complex ASIC products in automotive, industrial, and embedded systems. Collaborate across architecture, analog, back‑end, and validation teams to deliver high‑performance, robust, and manufacturable designs.
**Expectations**
* Deliver end‑to‑end RTL designs for medium‑sized blocks (~100k gates).
* Own design lint, synthesis, and place‑and‑route steps within the ASIC flow.
* Communicate design intent clearly with cross‑functional teams.
* Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control discipline.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and implement RTL modules in Verilog/SystemVerilog (VHDL acceptable).
* Model and integrate CPU/MCU cores, memory interfaces (SRAM/ROM/NVM), ADCs, DSP filters, and other digital peripherals.
* Perform functional verification using SystemVerilog testbenches and UVM methodology.
* Participate in architecture reviews, proposing optimizations for performance, power, area, and testability (DFT).
* Coordinate with analog, back‑end, and validation groups for system‑level integration.
* Create and maintain technical documentation (specs, design notes, test plans).
* Assist in preparing for industrialization: scan insertion, autotest, and qualification flows.
* Offer proactive suggestions to improve design flow and manufacturability.
**Required Skills**
* 5+ years in ASIC or FPGA digital design.
* Strong RTL design skills (Verilog/SystemVerilog; VHDL expertise a plus).
* Functional verification experience (SystemVerilog, UVM concepts).
* Knowledge of DFT (scan, testable design).
* Familiarity with CPU/MCU, memory interfaces, ADCs, and simple DSP blocks.
* Understanding of ASIC development flow and industrialization constraints.
* Experience with Cadence front‑end tools and simulation environments (QuestaSIM, Jasper/Spyglass).
* Comfortable using Git/Gerrit, Tcl, Python, and basic C/C++ for scripting.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and self‑direction.
* Professional English; French optional.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s (Bac‑5) or Master’s/PhD in Microelectronics, Digital Electronics, or equivalent engineering discipline.
