**Job Title** Sales Account Executive **Role Summary** Drive new business as a senior outbound sales professional, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for an AI‑powered inventory planning platform serving e‑commerce and omnichannel retailers. Focus on high‑volume DTC brands (USD 10M‑100M GMV) with complex supply‑chain needs. Deliver data‑driven value, build multi‑threaded relationships, and provide feedback to product and marketing. **Expectations** - Consistently meet or exceed quarterly quota in an outbound‑heavy environment. - Build a robust pipeline from scratch, attend industry events, and perform cold outreach. - Articulate ROI in terms of in‑stock %, inventory turns, working capital, and PO cycle time. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date pipeline data in HubSpot. **Key Responsibilities** - Own end‑to‑end sales cycle: research, prospect, discovery, multi‑threaded pitch, close, and handoff. - Collaborate with SDRs to grow pipeline and optimize outreach sequence. - Target DTC/e‑commerce brands with multi‑location inventory and supplier complexity. - Sell core value proposition: AI‑driven demand forecasting, automated purchase orders, real‑time backorder & delivery messaging. - Engage C‑suite and operational leaders (Founder/CEO, COO, Head of Ops, Supply Chain, Finance) to build business cases. - Relay customer insights to product, marketing, and leadership to inform roadmap. - Maintain clean, accurate data in CRM (HubSpot). **Required Skills** - 3+ years closing new SaaS business, preferably in supply‑chain, operations, or commerce tech. - Proven outbound quota‑beater with strong discovery and qualification (BANT, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC). - Consultative selling style with ability to create urgency and manage timelines. - Ability to build pipeline from zero, iterate quickly, and close net‑new logos. - Comfortable with hustle: cold outreach, networking, events, community engagement. - Familiarity with e‑commerce operations stack (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, 3PL/WMS, NetSuite/Dynamics). - Experience selling to COO/Head of Ops/VP Supply Chain/Founder personas. - Knowledge of inventory planning, POs, backorders, delivery‑date messaging. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply‑Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required.
