Job Description
**Job Title** Enterprise Account Executive – France **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth by selling Kong’s Enterprise Platform to large enterprise customers in France. Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing—while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. **Expectations** - Achieve individual sales quota and defined revenue objectives. - Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecast based on validated evidence. - Travel to customer sites 30‑50% of the time. - Contribute to win/loss analysis and continuous improvement of sales motions. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect, qualify, and close new enterprise accounts for Kong’s API and AI connectivity solutions. - Develop and document buying criteria, decision‑making processes, and sales motions for each account. - Lead pre‑sales and post‑sales engagements, coordinating with technical and customer success teams. - Build and nurture relationships with C‑level and senior stakeholders. - Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to customer needs. - Negotiate contract terms and finalize agreements. **Required Skills** - Proven experience selling enterprise software (SaaS, infrastructure, APIs); open‑source background a strong plus. - Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast‑moving, scale‑up environment. - Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and forecasting capabilities. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to influence senior decision‑makers and drive complex sales cycles. - High motivation, results‑orientation, and resilience. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant sales certifications (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, or SaaS sales methodology) preferred but not mandatory.
