Job Description
Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Lead design, development, deployment, and support of custom ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows. Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver business solutions, maintain platform stability, and enforce governance and compliance standards. Expectations: - Full‑time, hybrid schedule (3 on‑site days, 2 remote). - Minimal travel; primarily stationary work ≥75%. - Maintain daily operational uptime and high‑quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and deploy custom ServiceNow apps, modules, and integrations. - Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solutions. - Create prototypes, conduct user testing, and refine based on feedback. - Review, maintain, and update technical documentation (architecture diagrams, user guides). - Perform QA testing, defect tracking, and production issue resolution. - Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and oversee deployments. - Advise on and enforce ServiceNow governance, security, and compliance policies. - Contribute to best‑practice standards and process improvement initiatives. - Ensure platform uptime, scalability, and performance. Required Skills: - Proficiency in ServiceNow development (custom apps, UI/UX, workflow, scripting). - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM. - Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. - Experience with ServiceNow architecture, integration patterns, and API usage. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of ServiceNow environments. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred. - 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. - 4+ years with key ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM). - ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) and/or ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certifications strongly preferred.
