**Job title:** Cloud Engineer (AWS Bedrock)
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy scalable generative AI applications on Amazon Bedrock using Java-based microservices. Lead the integration of AI/LLM workloads, secure API design, and production‑grade deployment pipelines.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑performance, secure, and maintainable AI solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and architects to productionize models.
- Automate infrastructure and continuous delivery workflows.
- Ensure observability, scalability, and compliance with cloud best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Architect and build AI‑driven applications leveraging AWS Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, SageMaker, DynamoDB, S3, and other core services.
2. Develop Java (8/11/17) microservices with Spring Boot, RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
3. Integrate LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and fine‑tuning workflows via Bedrock APIs.
4. Implement secure authentication (JWT/OAuth2) and RBAC for APIs.
5. Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation; set up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline).
6. Containerize services with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS), and manage deployments.
7. Monitor, log, and trace applications using CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar.
8. Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of AI workloads.
9. Work with event‑driven architectures (Kafka, SNS, SQS) for data pipelines.
**Required Skills:**
- Java (8/11/17) programming, Spring Boot, microservices architecture.
- Deep knowledge of AWS Bedrock, LLMs, embeddings, RAG, model deployment.
- Experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, SageMaker, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM.
- Familiarity with NLP/LLM frameworks: Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event‑driven patterns.
- Containerization (Docker), orchestration (K8s/EKS).
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline.
- Secure API design (JWT/OAuth2, RBAC).
- Monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred).
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate (preferred).
