Job Description
**Job Title:** Director, CyberSecurity **Role Summary:** Lead the enterprise’s cybersecurity program, defining strategy, overseeing implementation, and ensuring compliance with national and industry regulations. Drive risk management, incident response, and security awareness while managing a high‑performance team and budgeting for security initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver a comprehensive, business‑aligned security strategy that protects critical assets and supports organizational objectives. - Maintain regulatory compliance (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, ITAR) and provide governance oversight. - Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across all departments. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Develop and execute a company‑wide cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures. 2. Lead, mentor, and grow a cybersecurity team; recruit, train, and retain talent. 3. Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks; design and implement mitigation plans. 4. Own incident response: develop plans, coordinate investigations, and implement corrective actions. 5. Oversee security infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance; evaluate emerging technologies. 6. Collaborate with IT, legal, executive, and other stakeholders to align security initiatives with business goals. 7. Create and deliver organization‑wide security awareness training programs. 8. Manage the cybersecurity budget, allocate resources, and justify technology investments. **Required Skills:** - Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, risk management, security architecture, and incident response. - Proven leadership and team‑management experience (8+ years in senior cybersecurity roles). - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to stay current with evolving threats, technologies, and compliance requirements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent. - Eligibility to comply with ITAR: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations.
