Job Description
**Job Title** Director, Enterprise Architecture (IT) **Role Summary** Lead enterprise architecture governance across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, applications, ERP, and platform services. Define principles, standards, reference models, and roadmap to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient technology aligned with business strategy. Serve as the final architectural escalation point and design authority, coordinating with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams. **Expectations** - Establish long‑term architectural direction and modernization strategy. - Own enterprise architecture standards, review processes, and compliance enforcement. - Provide expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Zero Trust security, and complex ERP platforms. - Influence senior leadership through clear communication of architecture decisions, risks, and trade‑offs. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as enterprise authority for architecture across infrastructure, cloud, networking, applications, ERP, and platforms. - Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and approved design patterns. - Establish formal architecture review and approval processes for all significant technology initiatives. - Own and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and modernization goals. - Act as final escalation point for complex, cross‑domain design decisions. - Design and review OCI tenancy models, compartment strategies, IAM policies, security zones, and high‑availability/disaster‑recovery architectures. - Govern OCI automation and infrastructure‑as‑code standards using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. - Define enterprise network architecture standards; lead design reviews for hybrid, global connectivity, segmentation, routing, resiliency, performance, and availability. - Define, govern, and review Zero Trust architecture, including ZTNA, SSE, SASE, and edge security platforms (Cloudflare, Zscaler, etc.). - Provide architectural oversight for Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) environments: scalability, security, integrations, lifecycle management, and modernization strategies. - Embed security‑by‑design principles across all layers; ensure alignment with NIST, CISA, and industry frameworks. - Enforce architectural compliance through governance forums and formal design review processes. - Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and trade‑offs to executive and senior IT leadership; act as trusted advisor to technology and business stakeholders. **Required Skills** - Deep hands‑on expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including tenancy, IAM, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid integration. - Extensive experience in enterprise network architecture, Zero Trust security models, and complex ERP/platform systems. - Strong knowledge of automation and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines). - Proven ability to develop and enforce architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and design patterns. - Experience in formal architecture review, governance, and escalation processes. - Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to translate business strategy into technical architecture and modernization roadmaps. - Familiarity with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) architecture, scalability, and integration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Professional certifications: - Oracle Cloud Architect Professional (or equivalent OCI certification) - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (preferred) - TOGAF 9 (or equivalent enterprise architecture framework) - Network+ / CCNP / CCIE (for network architecture) (preferred)
