Job Description
Job title: Data Intern - Summer 2026 Role Summary: Assist in data management, analysis, and visualization across all business lines. Support creation and maintenance of dashboards, perform ad‑hoc analytics, and help aggregate multi‑source datasets to support decision‑making. Expactations: • Work full‑time in a team‑oriented office environment. • Meet project deadlines and deliver clear, actionable insights. • Communicate findings effectively to business leaders and cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Execute data management and analytics workflows for in‑house processes. - Design, implement, and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx. - Deliver ad‑hoc analysis to business line leaders on a regular basis. - Break down complex datasets, create detailed analyses, and present results in consumable formats. - Aggregate and reconcile data from multiple sources with varying structures to create efficient analytic pipelines. - Participate in project phases: requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support data initiatives. Required Skills: - Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with at least one analytical language (Python, R). - Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx). - Strong logical, mathematical, and analytical reasoning abilities. - Ability to apply basic to complex mathematical formulas for decision‑support analysis. - Excellent communication and cross‑department collaboration skills. Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a program related to Data Analytics, Finance, or a comparable field. - Coursework or practical experience in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx is preferred.
