Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Drive automation, reliability, and scalability of software delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure in a multi‑cloud environment, leveraging GitHub Actions, Azure, and AWS.
Expactations: Manage CI/CD pipelines, source control, and cloud resources; automate operational tasks; monitor performance; ensure security and compliance; mentor junior staff; evaluate new DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated builds, tests, and deployments across Azure and AWS.
- Enforce GitHub branching strategies, manage repository workflows, and lead codebase migrations from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
- Provision, configure, and manage VMs, AKS, App Services, EC2, S3, EKS, and IAM using Terraform IaC.
- Automate operations with PowerShell/Bash; configure VPN and network security for hybrid/multi‑cloud architecture.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health via Datadog and Azure Monitor; troubleshoot outages and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into pipelines, manage secrets across platforms, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Propose and adopt new tools to enhance platform reliability; mentor junior engineers; contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure, and AWS.
- Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
- Scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or EKS.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Azure Monitor, and monitoring/logging principles.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.
- (Preferred) MySQL database management; AWS services such as CodeDeploy, Secrets Manager, Elastic Beanstalk, ElastiCache, SES, S3.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in DevOps or related engineering role.
- Relevant Azure, AWS, or DevOps certifications are a plus.
