Job Description
**Job Title:** Supply Chain Manager **Role Summary:** Drive the end‑to‑end supply chain operation for a reusable‑container production business. Own production planning, logistics coordination, inventory management, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement. Lead a cross‑functional team, ensuring on‑time delivery, cost control, and regulatory compliance. **Expectations:** - Deliver efficient, cost‑effective supply‑chain operations that meet production and client delivery targets. - Maintain high service levels through proactive coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. - Demonstrate leadership that fosters teamwork, accountability, and professional development. - Communicate progress and challenges clearly to senior management and external partners. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Production Planning:** Develop, adjust, and communicate production schedules (injection, decoration, packaging) based on capacity and customer priorities. - **Manufacturing Coordination:** Order manufacturing runs, manage deviations, and ensure alignment with production resources. - **Logistics & Transportation Management:** Plan inbound/outbound flow, coordinate warehousing and shipping, negotiate and monitor transport contracts (quality, cost, lead‑time). - **Inventory Management:** Monitor stock levels of finished goods, raw materials, and consumables; set reorder thresholds; conduct regular inventory reconciliations. - **Continuous Improvement:** Track supply‑chain KPIs; identify improvement opportunities; implement corrective actions and process optimisations. - **Team Leadership:** Supervise logistics, planning, and client‑relations staff; set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth. - **Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure adherence to customs, safety, and regulatory requirements. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in production planning, industrial logistics, inventory control, and transportation management. - Experience managing third‑party logistics providers and negotiating transport contracts. - Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and production‑planning software. - Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and reporting tools. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; data‑driven decision making. - Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2). - Proven team‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills. - Adaptability, process orientation, and a proactive improvement mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (Bac + 3) to Master’s (Bac + 5) degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent. - Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, SCIPS, or ISO 9001 auditor are a plus but not mandatory.
