Job Description

Job title: Business Analyst Training & Internship Role Summary: Remote internship focused on hands‑on data analytics including data management, cleaning, visualization, and machine learning within banking, finance, and commerce contexts. Expactations: Deliver actionable insights from large datasets, support cross‑functional teams, apply statistical tests, develop ML pipelines, and present findings to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, preprocess, and analyze extensive datasets with the data science team. - Apply machine learning and data mining techniques to extract insights, including identification of Excel interface structures. - Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) in Python, emphasizing risk analytics. - Build and optimize ML pipelines for commercial, financial, and procurement applications. - Develop scientific tests and validate models using T‑tests and other hypothesis‑testing methods. - Create visualizations and dashboards in Tableau for non‑technical stakeholders. - Draft reports and presentations summarizing methods, discoveries, and recommendations. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and internal stakeholders to formulate business hypotheses and strategy evaluations. Required Skills: - Strong analytical problem‑solving and critical thinking. - Python programming proficiency (libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, matplotlib/seaborn). - Familiarity with machine learning, data mining, and statistical testing (T‑tests, etc.). - Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar). - Ability to work independently, remotely, and collaborate across teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. - No specific certifications required, though knowledge of no‑code databases or advanced modeling tools is an advantage.
