**Job Title:** Senior Research & Proposals Specialist **Role Summary** Lead a team of 4‑5 Sales Support Associates to deliver timely, accurate proposals for life, disability, supplemental health, and Medical Stop Loss group insurance products. Act as liaison between sales, account management, and internal partners to ensure seamless proposal processes, continuous improvement, and compliance adherence. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality proposals that meet sales and customer persistence goals. - Foster a productive, trained, and engaged support team. - Ensure consistent, compliant processes across client relationship and sales functions. - Resolve escalated issues efficiently, maintaining service excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage, supervise, and develop a Sales Support team (4‑5 members). - Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members. - Coordinate proposal creation, submission, and follow‑up for assigned accounts. - Maintain and update SOPs, job aids, and documentation. - Monitor compliance policies, product knowledge, and system usage. - Collaborate with Sales Support Manager and broader Client Relationship Management to align processes. - Improve workflow and service delivery through data analysis and process optimization. - Act as escalation point for proposal and broker system issues; partner with strategic partners to resolve system defects. - Track metrics, compile reports, and communicate results to leadership. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal & communication skills. - Attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation. - Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines. - Leadership and team‑development experience. - Proficient in sales support and proposal systems (Prudential platforms, broker inbox processes). - Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in insurance sales. - Problem‑solving and process‑improvement mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - Leadership experience preferred; formal certification in project or team management (e.g., PMP, Certified Manager) is advantageous but not mandatory.
