Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Operations – IT Systems Administrator **Role Summary:** Maintain and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational excellence. Lead automation initiatives using Power Platform and Copilot Studio to streamline processes, support 24x7x365 operations, and integrate on‑premises and cloud environments. **Expectations:** - Provide rotating on‑call support for continuous operations. - Proactively identify automation and efficiency opportunities. - Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure aligned with best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows (Power Automate). - Build custom business apps (Power Apps). - Develop and manage virtual agents (Copilot Studio). - Deploy, secure, and monitor infrastructure across on‑prem and Azure/AWS/GCP. - Manage patching, updates, and endpoint administration via SCCM, Intune, or equivalent. - Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; provide data‑driven recommendations. - Administer backups, disaster recovery, and security controls with automation focus. - Support cybersecurity initiatives and technical controls. - Resolve Tier I/II escalations, using automation to reduce ticket volume. - Perform root cause analysis and recommend infrastructure improvements. - Execute change management activities with minimal disruption. **Required Skills:** - Windows & Linux server administration. - VMware, Hyper‑V virtualization. - Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash. - Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio. - Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Datadog, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor. - IT security best practices. - Backup & disaster recovery. - ITIL framework knowledge. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - Preferred certifications: MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, CCNA.
