Job Description

**Job Title**: Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Drive continuous delivery pipelines, automation, observability, and SRE practices across a cloud‑native environment. **Expectations**: - Architect robust cloud solutions with best‑practice IaC. - Own end‑to‑end CI/CD and release automation. - Lead incident response, SRE metrics, and reliability engineering. - Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps culture. **Key Responsibilities** - Architecture & Cloud management: design, deploy, and maintain scalable infra on AWS, Azure, or GCP; implement IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; optimize cost and performance; plan HA, DR, and backup. - CI/CD & Automation: build and maintain pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps); automate releases, testing, provisioning; enable zero‑downtime, canary/blue‑green rollouts. - Observability & Reliability: set up Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic; monitor, troubleshoot, and enforce SLOs, SLIs, error budgets. - Security & Compliance: apply DevSecOps practices (vulnerability scanning, patching, secrets); manage IAM, roles, and access policies; ensure SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA compliance as required. - Containerization & Orchestration: manage Docker and Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, self‑managed); implement service mesh, autoscaling, and cluster maintenance. - Collaboration & Leadership: work with development teams on performance and reliability; mentor peers; participate in on‑call rotations and lead incident resolution. **Required Skills** - 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience in cloud environments. - Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. - CI/CD and automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). - Strong scripting (Python, Bash, Shell; Go optional). - Kubernetes, Docker, microservices architecture. - Networking, Linux administration, system internals. - GitOps workflow familiarity (ArgoCD, FluxCD). - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Professional certifications preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar credentials.
