Job title: Social Media Coordinator
Role Summary: Entry‑level coordinator responsible for producing, publishing, and engaging across multiple social platforms to support brand campaigns.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality content on schedule, maintain brand voice, actively engage communities, and report basic performance metrics; work collaboratively with internal teams in a remote, 1099 capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and publish posts, reels, stories, and short videos on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, and other channels.
- Write captions, design graphics, and edit videos using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Monitor community interactions; respond to comments, questions, and messages promptly.
- Participate in relevant discussions on Reddit, Quora, and similar platforms to build awareness.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and brand strategists to ensure content aligns with goals and guidelines.
- Assist with scheduling using social media management tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite).
- Stay current on platform trends and best practices.
- Compile basic reports on engagement, follower growth, and reach.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, X/Twitter, Reddit, Quora, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat).
- Strong written and verbal communication; meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic design or editing experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfortable engaging with online communities.
- Collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and openness to feedback.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (recommended).
- Prior internship or experience managing social media is a plus.
