Job Description
Job title: Transformation Director Role Summary: Lead the establishment and operation of a world‑class Transformation Management Office (TMO). Drive enterprise‑wide change initiatives across broking, analytics, technology, operations and shared services, ensuring governance, budget discipline, and stakeholder alignment. Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and board, shape value‑creation strategy, and lead high‑impact, cross‑functional projects from concept to delivery. Expectations: - Build and scale a high‑performance TMO with robust processes, controls, and infrastructure. - Deliver cross‑functional transformation projects on time, within scope and budget. - Establish governance forums for decision‑making and risk monitoring. - Influence senior leaders and external partners to secure buy‑in and resources. - Drive a culture of accountability, data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Inspire teams and manage change across the organization at pace. - Identify critical priorities, optimize resource allocation and focus on high‑impact activities. - Own project outcomes, hold teams accountable, and embed a performance‑driven culture. - Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and influence at all levels. - Act as trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and board on transformation strategy. - Develop and maintain governance, risk, and reporting frameworks for transformation initiatives. - Partner with business and technology leaders to design, build and launch innovative solutions. - Scale operations and build a mature TMO in greenfield or early‑stage settings. Required Skills: - Proven track record of delivering business transformation and innovative solutions in a complex, high‑growth environment. - Experience building and scaling high‑growth, complex businesses, preferably in (re)insurance. - Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary portfolios, delivering on scope, budget and timeline. - Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset; skill in prioritizing the “critical few”. - Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder influence. - Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and drive outcomes with limited resources. - Leadership skills: inspirational, collaborative, humble, high self‑motivation and growth mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related discipline (MBA or equivalent preferred). - Professional certifications relevant to transformation and project management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are desirable.
