Job Description
Job title: FTC - Technology Auditor (AVP level) Role Summary: Senior technology auditor responsible for leading audits of cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure within a top‑tier financial services environment. Provides end‑to‑end audit lifecycle support, assesses control design and operation, and delivers recommendations to senior management and audit committees. Expectations: - Deliver independent, high‑quality audits with minimal supervision. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of regulatory and industry standards. - Engage proactively with business, compliance, and risk teams to drive remediation. - Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences, including audit committees. - Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and conclude audit projects covering critical risk areas. - Evaluate the adequacy of control design and operation, including testing of evidence. - Prepare audit working papers, draft reports, and finalize findings for review. - Provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement. - Participate in steering, project, and working groups to gather insights and convey audit perspectives. - Follow up on remediation actions, reporting progress to the Chief Auditor. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving technology and security frameworks. Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years of technology audit experience in a UK/US regulated financial services firm. - Expertise in cloud platform security, cybersecurity controls, and IT infrastructure audit. - Proficiency with audit frameworks: COBIT, NIST, CIS, ISO27001, CSA CCM, ITIL. - Strong analytical skills using data analytics tools (Jupyter, QlikView, Tableau, Alteryx). - Coding experience in SQL, Python, or R for evidence testing and data manipulation. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple engagements. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. - Preferred certifications: CISA, CCAK, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent IT audit/risk credentials. ---
