**Job Title:** Analyst, Consumer Insights and Marketing Analytics
**Role Summary:**
Perform data‑driven analysis combining shopper, consumer, and campaign data to generate actionable insights on category performance, shopper behavior, consumer attitudes, and marketing effectiveness for a global consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand.
**Expectations:**
- 3‑5 years of CPG insights, analytics, or market research experience.
- Hands‑on expertise with retail panel/POS data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana).
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI; working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, synthesize complex data, and communicate clear recommendations.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate and maintain recurring retail panel and POS reports (category share, penetration, buy rate, promotional effectiveness).
- Conduct shopper insights analyses (promotional lift, switching behavior, basket dynamics).
- Build and sustain Power BI dashboards linking shopper, consumer, and marketing data for cross‑functional teams.
- Develop ETL pipelines in Azure RDBMS using SQL/R/Python to ensure clean, integrated data flows.
- Support consumer research projects (survey programming, concept testing, qualitative logistics).
- Perform campaign performance analysis, assessing creative effectiveness and media impact.
- Execute social listening queries and summarize emerging consumer/competitor themes.
- Apply AI‑enabled tools for text analytics, open‑ended coding, and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Synthesize findings across data sources into concise deliverables for Marketing, Sales, Innovation, and Strategy partners.
- Collaborate with Director on quantitative research, qualitative interpretation, category reviews, and forecasting.
**Required Skills:**
- Retail measurement and panel data analysis (NielsenIQ, Circana, Numerator).
- Data visualization (Power BI) and advanced Excel.
- SQL and/or R or Python for data cleaning and analysis.
- Survey research platform experience; familiarity with qualitative methods.
- Campaign analytics and social listening techniques.
- AI‑driven analytics tools for text mining and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (required).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, SQL, data science) are a plus but not mandatory.
