Job title: Lead Project Manager
Role Summary: Lead multiple commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining contract compliance, quality, safety, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Expectations: • Deliver projects within agreed scope, schedule, and cost.
• Provide senior‑level oversight and strategic guidance to a growing project management team.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and coordinators.
• Proactively manage risk, change orders, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage concurrent construction projects from inception to closeout.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change order administration, and margin protection.
- Support contract administration and major subcontractor approvals.
- Mentor and coach Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards across all sites.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical, scheduling, and contractual issues, escalating key risks when necessary.
Required Skills
- Senior project management and leadership experience.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, contract management.
- Expertise in risk management and change order administration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
- Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or equivalent).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive construction project management experience.
- Proven track record managing projects of $500 k‑$50 m, including ground‑up and tenant improvement works.
