Tracking materials, equipment, subcontractor progress. 4. Scheduling updates, quantity tracking, cost control tasks. 5. Participating in site visits, safety meetings, progress reviews. 6. Job Description
Job title: Proposal Coordinator Role Summary Coordinate and manage the full proposal lifecycle for construction project RFPs, ensuring compliance, quality, and on‑time submission. Work closely with estimating, operations, and subcontractors to gather content, develop narratives, and maintain proposal assets. Expectations Entry‑level to early career professional with 2+ years in construction proposal or bid coordination. Strong interest in proposal development and career growth within civil construction. Key Responsibilities - Manage end‑to‑end proposal process from RFP issuance to final submission. - Review solicitation documents, create compliance matrices, response outlines, and proposal schedules. - Draft proposal content, including corporate information, project profiles, resumes, bonding, insurance, and technical narratives. - Develop clear executive summaries, technical approaches, methodologies, and management plans. - Collaborate with estimating, operations, leadership, subcontractors, and vendors to collect inputs and meet deadlines. - Maintain and update proposal templates, tools, and content libraries. - Ensure submissions meet formatting, branding, and quality standards. - Track lessons learned from project debriefs to improve proposal processes. Required Skills - Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating construction RFPs or supporting bid processes. - Strong written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam is an asset. - Professional, collaborative, proactive approach. Required Education & Certifications - Post‑secondary education in applied science, business, administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred). - Junior technical or engineering‑related experience considered an asset. - No specific certifications required.
