Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer (.NET) **Role Summary:** Develop and maintain high‑performance backend services and APIs for a product used by both customers and internal teams. Contribute to an Agile team delivering scalable, production‑grade systems. **Expactations:** - Deliver clean, well‑tested code that meets business and technical requirements. - Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and code reviews. - Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and other developers to define and achieve iteration goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, code, test, and deploy C#/.NET backend components and RESTful APIs. - Integrate multiple systems and third‑party services, ensuring data consistency and reliability. - Optimize application performance for high‑volume data and transaction processing. - Troubleshoot and resolve defects in production environments. - Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on best practices and new technologies, including AI tooling. - Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of commercial C#/.NET development experience. - Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design, LINQ, async/await, and dependency injection. - Proven experience building and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.). - Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework Core). - Solid understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Comfortable embracing AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI‑driven code reviews) to enhance productivity. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - .NET or C# related certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are advantageous but not mandatory.
